I have been a farmer and lawyer for over 40 years. After spending 30 years practising as a lawyer in Taupo. I moved to beautiful Ohakune at the foot of Mt Ruapehu in 1993 and took over the practice of Harris Harvey Nash. My daughter Joanna joined the firm in 2003. After 40 years of marriage I am now a doting grandfather with 8 grandchildren and step grandchildren. I am an avid model train collector, reluctant gardener and a keen trout fisherman.

Before becoming a lawyer, I travelled widely and had stints living in Hong Kong and the United States where I attended the University of South Carolina. While living in the United States where I met and married my husband, I had a career in marketing and sales before we decided to move back to New Zealand to bring up our 3 children. After completing a law degree at Victoria University, I joined my father Jeremy in practice in Ohakune.

Jo Parkinson
I'm the "senior" administrator in our offices, with some 22 years of legal office experience - working primarily with Jeremy on his client matters, in property, estate, trusts and charitable and volunteer organisations. I also oversee the Trust and Office accounts. I'm a keen gardener and squash player. I do a fair amount of weekend travel involving National and Regional Dog trials; my husband is a national champion and judge - and our sons are now following him

Minnie Hall
I have worked with the firm for three years and provide administrative and secretarial support at our Ohakune office. When I’m not in the office, I can be found helping out on our family’s farm.
I am a supporter of local community initiatives including the Waimarino Rodeo (Committee), Raetihi Primary School Netball (Treasurer) and Raetihi Junior Rugby (Secretary).
